Proudly owning <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">parrots</a> as pets is expanding swiftly in acclaim. Purchasing a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">parrot</a> from a rescue organization or pet store is always an option. Nevertheless, when purchasing directly from a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder, there will be more likelihood to receive the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s legitimate history, methods of care, and personality information.  It is of the maximum importance that a lifelong <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> partner be chosen from reputable <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeders with a high standard of superior care, dedication to safety, and reliability.</p>
<p><strong>Picking Your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Breeder</strong></p>
<p>When finding a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder, excellent of bird care is essential. Healthy and happy parrots depend greatly on the way they were raised. Depending on the breed of <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>, feeding methods will vary. Hand rearing or feeding while dealing with the baby parrots is one way that breeders can instruct early in the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s life the importance of relating with humans. Breeders should begin to handle the responsibility of weaning baby parrots at 10-12 weeks of age by implementing into their diet a plethora of fresh fruits and vegetables, soft foods, pellets, and seeds.</p>
<p><strong>Cage Care and Size</strong></p>
<p>Cage care and size is also necessary to note. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> cages are the biggest on the market, and they should be. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> breeders should realize that parrots need to feel safe and at home in their cages. Some <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> owners prefer to clip the wings of their parrots to regulate their cage size or to make it easy for their parrots to roam free. A serious <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder will know the importance of keeping their parrots safe in a cage while unattended, not limiting their wing development. A smart <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder will know that baby parrots need to have time to fledge, allowing time for their feathers to grow. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> breeders will know that this is something that young parrots need to have to aid in their growth, balance, development and overall happiness.</p>

Knowing what to look for in a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder will aid in discovering that special <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> companion. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> breeders should feel relaxed answering any and all questions that a future <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> owner would likely have. They should offer the chance to see the breeding facilities, aviaries, and <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages.</p>
<p>Picking a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> as a pet is a great commitment.  undertaking the mandatory research, knowing what to look for, and finding a creditable <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder will certify that the purchase of a new <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> partner will be a fulfilling experience. Getting the right <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> breeder will allow the upcoming owner to feel assured in the fact that they are purchasing a happy, healthy well-adjusted feathered friend.</p>

African Pet <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">Parrots</a> live for 50 to 70 years, which is almost equal to that of human beings. Just make sure you buy the right <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> for your pet.</p>
<p>The African Grey <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> may even go on to outlive you; therefore, there is no need to shed tears anymore because your pet died. The African <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> has been a favorite pet throughout the world since time immemorial. Rearing African Parrots is a full-fledged business in Africa, and businessmen there breed them specifically to sell these to buyers from across the world. But these parrots do require large and special <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> to keep them in.</p>
<p><strong>Adaptable African Pet Parrots</strong><br />
The African Pet <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> adapts to local conditions very quickly as it manages to fit perfectly almost anywhere in the world. Though common sense tells us that the African <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> will not be the right choice in homes where there is too much open space or you have dogs and cats, or even children. The African <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> is known for its friendly nature, which can be detrimental to the safety of young children.</p>
<p>The male Parrots tend to be larger in size with round eyes whereas females are smaller and have elliptical eyes. These parrots, however, come at a cost. You may have to pay anything in the range of 90 to 500 for the parrots. The <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> also need to be better, sturdier, and long lasting due to the longer life of African parrots.</p>
<p><strong>African Grey Parrots</strong><br />
African Grey Parrots, however, are equally popular as pets though not very easy to own. Many people would suggest you to expect <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s behavior to be like that of dog or cat. These parrots can be very nervous when they enter your home and can develop behavior problems. They get stressed easily when they are meeting new people or other animals.</p>
<p><strong>Keep Your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Happy</strong><br />
It&#8217;s great if you can afford training from a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> trainer, since the investment will be worth it. The African Grey Parrots are among the most intelligent, they respond very quickly when you interact with them and they can go on to become a great pet. You can keep your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> happy and stress free with the help of toys, spacious <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong>, and plenty of attention.</p>
<p><strong>Clean Cages Regularly</strong><br />
You need to clean the <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> regularly, especially due to their irregular excretion. That&#8217;s why the cages need to be cleaned thoroughly with water so as to remove all the smell and kill bacteria from cages. African Grey Parrots have a habit of chewing almost anything. They enjoy chewing wood, clothes, curtains as well as many other things. We do not intend to discourage you, but you still need to be on the safer side while letting the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> out of the cage.</p>
<p><strong>Parrots Diet</strong><br />
The diet of African Grey Parrots should include calcium and vitamin A in adequate amount. Some of the examples of proper food for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> are fruit, seeds, peeled food, nuts, leafy greens, vegetables and cheese. If the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is being supplied adequate diet, you may not need supplements in that case. Make sure fresh water is always available for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> and the water supply needs to be changed regularly. Some people add supplements in the water also. When you are buying an African Grey <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a>, you need to keep in mind the environment it is going to live in. Your parrots should always feel safe within their living space. <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> for your African Grey <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Good <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong> are expensive, but since African parrots may live for about 50 years, the investment might be worth it.</p>
<p>Shop and buy a small, medium, or large <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages for you pet African parrots and other pet birds. Keep it Positive<br />
The key to training your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is to keep the interaction positive. Three concepts provide the basis for <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> training:</p>

2. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> does something undesirable &#8211;&gt; ignore it<br />
3. Never punish your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a></p>
<p>Obviously, this is a bit simplistic, but your goal is to shape your bird&#8217;s behavior into what you want by a giving a reward for good things and ignoring (no reward, no reaction) for bad things.</p>
<p>The reward can be a favorite food treat, but simple praise or a play session with a treasured toy can be good motivation for some birds. If your bird is doing something undesirable, you must simply ignore the bird (your bird will not respond to punishment).</p>
<p>A negative reaction can turn into a reward if your bird is looking for attention (negative attention is better than no attention), so you must be careful not to unintentionally cause some undesirable behaviors to increase due to your reaction. Ignoring behavior might first cause it to intensify, but eventually the undesirable behavior will most likely stop.</p>
<p>How you approach training can help keep training positive:</p>
<p>* Train only when you are relaxed. Positive training does take patience!<br />
* Pick a time when your bird is attentive and not distracted by eating, preening, or household activity.<br />
* Frequent, but short, training sessions are generally more effective. A few minutes at a time, several times a day, works well.<br />
* Pick a favorite reward (but don&#8217;t overdo it if it is food).<br />
* Once your bird catches on to something, don&#8217;t give a treat every time (switch to praise part of the time) or your bird may only do the behavior if he/she knows you have a treat handy.<br />
* End each session on a positive note. Wait for a successful attempt or at least a good try at whatever you are training, give a treat, and move on to something else.<br />
* Keep training sessions upbeat and fun for your bird.</p>
<p>I love birds and parrots are wonderful pets. Good luck in your training! <img src='http://www.parrotcare4u.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="icon smile African Pet Parrots And Parrot Cages" class='wp-smiley' title="African Pet Parrots And Parrot Cages" /> </p></blockquote>

<p>The living space you provide for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is essential in keeping them happy and healthy. A <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage should provide a fun, spacious environment for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> and when incorporate alongside free-time in which they&#8217;re allowed to fly freely, there is no reason why your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> won&#8217;t be happy <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>.</p>
<p>To ensure your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage is completely appropriate for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> there are a few things you should take into account: Space – a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage needs to have enough space for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> to have plenty of toys, perches and so on within it. In <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage terms; the bigger the better, it just depends on how much living space you yourself have.</p>
<p>Perches – make sure your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> has several perches within their cage; these will sometimes come included within the cage or you could purchase a bird play stand or bird tree to place inside your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage. Perches allow your bird exercise by flying from perch to perch ensuring they aren&#8217;t cramped up for too long in order to keep their joints healthy.</p>
<p>Toys – it&#8217;s important to include plenty of toys within the cage alongside the perches. You could almost think of your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> as a child that needs stimulation and attention constantly, and the toys will provide this. Equally, the toys don&#8217;t have to cost you a fortune; simple things such as mirrors, rattles and so on are more than enough to keep your bird entertained. Ideas-4-Pets offer a fantastic solution in bird toy packs, which include a vast amount of different toys which allow you to vary the toys with the cage so your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is always entertained and doesn&#8217;t become bored of the same toys.</p>
<p>Choosing a suitable <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage for your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is the first step towards making sure that your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is going to be happy living with you. Ideas-4-Pets offer an extensive range of <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages for everyone&#8217;s needs and there is bound to be a cage that will fit in with your living accommodation.</p>

<p><em>Answer by birdcrazy</em><br />
am not sure if cedar would be a safe wood to use, I am thinking no,and wouldn&#8217;t risk the birds life when other woods are safe.</p>
<p>Un-treated -no pesticides apple branches, eucalyptus, magnolia are safe woods for birds.<br />
Do a search for safe woods for birds. try yahoo, google and answers.com</p>

<p><strong>Warden the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a></strong></p>
<p><strong>How Many Toes Does A <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Have?</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">Parrots</a> come in many colors: gray, brown, red, green, yellow, blue, white, black, and various shades of all of those. Parrots can be very small, 4 inches (10 centimeters) &#8211; or very large, 40&#8243; (100 centimeters). Some parrots learn to talk well, while others never talk at all.</p>
<p>There are certain things, though, that all parrots have in common. They all like to live in warm places, for one thing. In addition, consider the following four similarities.</p>
<p>1. Beak: Every <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> has a curved, hooked beak. The beak is very strong, and able to inflict a deep wound. Its primary purpose, though, is to crack open strong nut shells or tear apart other food. A <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> uses its bill for &#8220;transportation&#8221; at times, too, pulling itself to a higher branch or perch with the strong bill.</p>
<p>2. Body: Every <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> has an upright body. Most birds, by comparison, have a horizontal body. Parrots&#8217; bodies are upright like humans.</p>
<p>3. Legs: Parrots have 2 short legs.</p>
<p>4. Toes: How many toes does a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> have? All parrots have 4 toes on each foot. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> toes are zygodactyl. That means the first and fourth toes are turned backward. The second and third toes turn forward. Song birds also have 4 toes, but they have 3 toes forward and 1 toe backward.</p>
<p><strong>Useful <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Toes</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> toes make for awkward walking, but they are very useful tools. Parrots can use the 2-forward, 2-backward combination as humans use a thumb and finger, grasping objects tightly between back and front toes.</p>
<p>The 4 <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes produce a foot pattern that lets them grasp branches and move along a branch. Progress is always sideways in slow, deliberate steps.</p>
<p>The 4 <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes also enable a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> to grasp food in its foot. Using its 2 front toes and 1 of the back toes, it holds the food tightly as it bites off pieces with its beak. A <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> usually holds the perch with its right foot, and lifts food to its mouth with the left foot.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> toes are useful for tricks, too. Many parrots delight in showing off for your praise by dangling upside down from a perch or the ceiling of their cage, often by only 1 toe! In the wild, this trick helps them reach food.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Toes in Training</strong></p>

</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script></p></div><p>The first step in training a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is to acquaint the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> with your touch. Its 8 <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes can be your bridge to success in this. Gently touch those <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes for a moment, and then withdraw your hand. Wait a few second, and then reach into the cage to touch the toes again. Let your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> see that nothing bad happens when you touch its toes. When it accepts this touch, move on to touch its legs, and work your way up the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>. Be sure other family members also touch the bird frequently so it does not become a one-person <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>.</p>
<p>When you are ready to finger train your bird, those <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes will again be important. Choose the evening, when your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> has eaten and is less lively. In a quiet room, open the cage door slowly, and put your index finger into the cage. Slowly touch the parrots&#8217; abdomen and it will hop onto your finger, clinging with its toes to maintain balance. Do not remove it from the cage the first few days. Simply repeat your finger training. When it is at ease with the action, slowly pull your finger with the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> on it toward the cage door where you have placed a treat. With patience, your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> will soon respond to a &#8220;Step Up&#8221; command and get on your finger when asked.</p>
<p>Always remember that a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> will never step down &#8211; only up. Always hold your finger or a perch above the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s toes.</p>
<p>A clever trick that is quickly learned by a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> is a cute wave of those 4 <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes. You can also teach it to put its foot to its beak on command.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Toes and Toys</strong></p>
<p>It is important to keep <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> toes busy and exercised. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> foot toys are an answer that provides entertainment as well as exercise. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> foot toys are small enough for a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> to hold with its foot. The <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> will then chew the toy, getting great enjoyment out of its destruction!</p>
<p>How Many Toes Does a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Have? Exactly the right number to walk, climb trees, move along branches, eat food, learn tricks, and play.</p>

The <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> hangs out at the front desk (wings clipped) but poops on charts and all over that area. I have seen dog poop in the rooms and a little dog wandering around this office. It&#8217;s a small office with a Doctor and 3 women working there. Is there a law against this? It&#8217;s very gross!</p>

<p>Your great aunt died and somehow decided to leave her farm to you. Maybe she felt a bond because your mother was the closest thing she had to a daughter. But even after sixty years, the house is still in good condition and not too out-of-date. You decide to live there and try to fulfill your dream of becoming a novelist. But you&#8217;ll want an excuse to move away from the computer every so often. And last night, your father suggested you put some of the money your great aunt left you to start some kind of side business. The house has this huge screened in porch, and you think raising <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">parrots</a> would be the perfect answer. But, what are you going to need for in <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong>?</p>
<p>You will want to buy metal <strong><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages</strong>. Metal cages are the easiest to clean and the most economical. You should look for cages that are in good shape, and don&#8217;t have wires poking out or other things that could hurt your parrots. You will also want to make sure that your <strong>bird cages</strong> don&#8217;t contain lead or other harmful materials. You will want the biggest cages you can afford. Parrots were made to fly around. You will need to make sure that the parrots can&#8217;t get their heads through the wires. Parrots also like to curl up in a corner to sleep, so they really prefer square cages over round. Be sure to place several perches around the cages, so that your parrots will want to move around. One perch needs to be by the food and water. Other perches should be at varying heights.</p>
<p>You have heard people being called &#8220;bird brains&#8221; as an insult. However, birds are actually very intelligent beings that need almost constant stimulation. If you don&#8217;t provide bird toys for your parrots, they are likely to pick up bad habits such as biting and nipping. So you will want to get some bird toys and routinely rotate them between the birds you have. All toys need to be safe for the bird to chew, meaning no dangerous dyes, and nothing the birds might choke on. Some birds love mirrors. Other birds enjoy puzzles, especially puzzles that allow them to find food. You can even use household goods as bird toys. Try frayed milk jugs, cardboard rolls, or bells you may have around the house.</p>
<p>You will want to get out and play with your parrots a couple of times a day. Let them enjoy flying around your house, without the confines of <strong>bird cages</strong>. Play with your birds and get to know them. Your prospective buyers will want to know something about the birds, and it will help you sell them better. So go to your pet store, or order online, and start setting up your bird business today. I&#8217;m sure you will find yourself enjoying it, and you may even keep a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> for yourself.</p>
<p>Shop and buy a small, medium, or large <a onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/recommends/bird_cages/77/" target="_blank" class="clicky_log_outbound">bird cages</a> for you pet <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> and pet birds. All types and sizes of <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages and bird toys are available for your pet birds.</p>

<p>How to Find The Best <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Cage For Sale</p>
<p>If you own a big <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>, you know that they have needs when it comes to bird cages. Coming across the right <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage for sale is a necessity. They are very large birds and they need suitable habitats that will satisfy their happiness.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> cages requires gigantic, unbreakable, beautiful enough so that your friend will feel comfy, and happy. When you are looking at bird cages I sincerely wish this can help you make the perfect decision.</p>
<p>Size is very important regarding <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Cages</p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> cages are made especially for birds that are very big. Enormous space for your feathered friend would help the happiness of your bird. Often bird owners want the door of the cage to be the best size that your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> can navigate it easily.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">Parrots</a> need to stretch their wings so a large roomy <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> home is important. The measurement of the cage being not big enough would be detrimental.</p>
<p>Cage Spacing Between the Bars is a necessary consideration</p>
<p>Selecting bar spacing is extremely important because your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s health is dependent on the right spacing. <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> bird cages and macaw cages always have bars that are unchangeable in shape.</p>
<p>Preventing your bird from getting out requires very strong bars from the cage. The bars on most <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cages are usually wider spaced because you need the cage spacing wide so your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> has the opportunity to view outside. Bars not wide enough is generally not recommended.</p>
<p>Low Maintenance</p>
<p>Any of the good size <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage for sale you have to contemplate is that the cage needs to have sturdy tray for cleaning. Easily taken out pans are one of the quickest and most convenient ways to clean bird cages. You do not have to anger your bird to clean and sanitize his home.</p>
<p>Researching about the best <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage for sale</p>

<p><em>Answer by moggie</em><br />
Most eclectus parrots I have seen are 0 upwards here in Australia, and you want a big cage for free as well as a bird costing less than a third of its value ? I think you are dreaming. Everyone knows the worth of these parrots. If you got one with cage for the cost of a cage only then I would hazzard a guess there would be a serious health issue with that bird.<br />
I think you need to save more money or do more research, or wait a very long time.</p>

Visitors to Seattle&#8217;s Pike Place Market are used to seeing strange sights. In this case, a man with his <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> (and I&#8217;m sure he would correctly on species, etc) &#8211; don&#8217;t they make a nice pair?</p>
<p><strong>Some Great <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">Parrot</a> Cages Tips<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Bird Comfort</strong></p>
<p>The size of the cage, its bar spacing and thickness depends on the size of your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>.  A cage must be large enough to enable your pet to spread both its wings freely and hop around in the cage.  Make room for toys and other stuff in your bird’s cage to enhance your bird&#8217;s environment. The larger the cage size, the better.</p>
<p>It would be advisable to look for the largest cage with 1/2 inch spacing.  Ensure that the bar spacing is smaller than your bird&#8217;s head to prevent it from becoming trapped in the bars.  A good space for medium birds is 1 3/16, and for larger ones, 1 3/8 is good.  Horizontal bars allow birds to climb around the cage.  Also, the strength of the bars is especially important for big <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com">parrots</a>.</p>
<p>Place the cage in an area of the house where your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> can see and interact with the family.  It is best to place the cage in an area with a partial view out a window so that your pet can avoid unwanted/frightening views unless, of course, the view is of a quiet garden offering green and trees.</p>
<p><strong>100% Safe</strong></p>
<p>A locking mechanism should be present on entry doors and feeder doors, to prevent accidental escapes.  Parrots are highly skillful in finding ways to get out.  Quick Links (the-c-type links) can be used to prevent parrots, from escaping.  Larger birds may require padlocks.  Some cages provide locks not only on the door of the cage but also on the back of the dishes.</p>
<p>The cage should have neither sharp edges nor blobs of weld or spots of rust which can cause metal poisoning to your bird.  Of course it will need to be strong enough to withstand the most powerful beaks.</p>
<p><strong>Easy to clean</strong></p>
<p>The cage should have easy to clean, removable grids and litter trays with removable seed guards to avoid the mess outside the cage.    You will need to consider a cage which has the hardest and strongest oven baked powder coating which will withstand the everyday repeating cleaning process.</p>
<p><strong>Easy and safe to move</strong></p>
<p>You will need to move your bird cage for cleaning and to custom your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> to accept changes.   For those reasons you need to make sure the wheels of your cage will not come off.  Cages with small rubber/plastic type wheels very often come off after a week or so as the wheels cannot support the weight of the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage.  You need quality designed very smooth, <a title="Easy to More Parrot Cage" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/recommends/easy_roll_wheels/46/" target="_blank" class="clicky_log_outbound">easy roll wheels</a> that are heavy duty and practical with no hard plastic, so no scratches to your wooden or tiled floors.</p>

<p>The cage should provide not just a secure home for the bird but also a great place for the <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> to play and to hang out   Choose a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> cage which offers a <a title="Play Top Parrot Cage" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/article_exit_link');" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/recommends/removable_play_top_and_a_landing_platform/47/" target="_blank" class="clicky_log_outbound">removable play top and a landing platform</a>, so, there will be no need for you to buy and accommodate a separate play stand.  The landing platform is very useful when you are trying to get your <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> back into its cage.</p>

<p><strong><em>Question by gohermurad</em>: What is the best place to keep a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a>&#8217;s cage?</strong><br />
i have a <a href="http://www.parrotcare4u.com/tag/parrot" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with parrot">parrot</a> and i have a problem with him&#8230;.he remains quiet in my room but when i bring its cage outside he starts to be more active and makes different sounds. My cage also has shade.so where should i keep it?</p>

<p><em>Answer by MRHickey</em><br />
I would not keep the bird outside as the environment can be too harsh. I would put the cage in an area where the animal will be able to see more people. I keep my bird in the living room where there is the most activity and she can see out a window. I take her outside occasionally but I don&#8217;t leave her out there, there is too much of a risk of harsh weather changes.</p>
<p>Parrots are social, the more they can see the happier they will be. I hope this helps, placement of the cage will affect a lot of the behavioral traits of the bird.</p>
<p>Good luck</p>
