ok i currently own 1 male white bellied caique and i contacted the breeder i got him from and i want to buy a female to breed caique is it good to have parents DNA certificate and pedigree and nursery certificate they are sending me his he was born 7/5/08 and i need to know everything about breding caiques

There are many breeder’s in Ohio and many right there in Columbus.

Do a goggle.com and a yahoo.com search for Bird Breeder’s In Ohio.

I am not sure what you mean by Work With A Breeder.
The breeder’s I know, most work alone or with family member’s, some hire clean up help, but breeding birds are only attended to my owner’s that breed them.
Reason’s are many, but mainly because breeding birds often will stop breeding if the situation isn’t safe and/or the male will attack and often kill the hen during breeding season.

Never confuse Exotic creature’s with Domestic one’s,
BIG Difference.

I imagine there will be an aviary near you that raises Quakers. You’ve done your homework on them, I hope. They’re an amazing bird but you need to be prepared for their quirks. Definitely not a bird for a first time parrot owner and you need to spend quite a bit of time with them. A lot of parrot in a small package. Other than that, they can be clowns with the right person and talk up a storm.

i don’;t think their religion has anything to do with how long they live. I have a presbyterian parrot that is over 50 years old, swears like a trooper.
